Annyeong..
I really, really like Korean variety show especially the outdoor
ones such as Family Outing, Invincible Youth and Running Man. FYI, I only
watched Family Outing and Invincible Youth Season 1 since for me, both Season 2
seriously sucks. And if you don’t know about Running Man, shame on you. You
missed something really entertaining in your life. Maybe I will do a review on these
shows, whenever I’m not too busy.
And I was interested to talk about a phrase commonly used in
these variety shows. Ever heard of ‘last life’ or ‘next life’? It means that
when you die, you will be reincarnated into something else, depending on how
you lived your last life. You don’t have a collection of memories of your last life;
however, you do have some skills from your last life. This is shown from
Running Man where Kim Jongkook has a special deduction skill that is usually
corrects and Yoo Jaesuk said that he (Kim Jongkook) probably was a detective in
his past life. As a Muslim, I don’t believe in any past or next life. However,
if I do, Cik Keledek predicted that I was an owner of an onion farm and has a
bad (probably alcoholic and love gambling) husband.
The reason is whenever I peel or cut an onion, 9 times out
of 10 I will CRY NON-STOP. You guys do know that I wear thick glasses, right? And
it does nothing to shield my eyes from whatever comes out from the onion that
irritates my eyes. And when I did stop crying and start to continue cutting the
onion, I will start crying again. Cik Keledek said that I was probably an owner
of an onion farm in my past life, and my life was happy until one day, I was
married to someone, and he loves to gamble, he gambled away the money I got
from the onion sales, and has a lot of debts as a result of his gambling habit.
Then, one day, he gave up MY onion farm to clear HIS debts without me knowing.
And I got really, really sad and cry everyday to the day I died. And when I
reincarnated, I was still sad at the sight of an onion.

On the other hand, I predicted Cik Keledek as a chillies
farm owner in her past life. Cik Keledek has a very delicate hand that everytime
she cuts chillies, she will be left with a very hot sensation in her hands that
won’t go away for a long time. I don’t know how to describe this but you know
when you cut chillies, sometimes your hands will feel like its burning. I, for
some reason, do not feel this often, but Cik Keledek will experience this
almost everytime she cooks something related to chillies. So, I predicted that
she maybe an owner of a chillies farm (probably near my onion farm), and she
live happily with her family there until one day, her farm caught fire and although
she tried her very best to save it, the farm was destroyed in a flash. So
everytime she cuts chillies, the hot sensation that left on her hand was
probably the painful memories of the fire burning her chillies farm.

Yeah, we were quite crazy and dorky to come up with such
stories. But then, we somehow appreciate the craziness and dorkyness of our
siblings to create a crazy story from only our imagination. And I’m not saying
that these stupid stories are our only creation *evil smile*. One of the
stories that we created left us with the name Cik Pisang and Cik Keledek. I
tell you guys the story someday. Cik Keledek will be home next week probably,
and I doubt that we will let the week pass without creating another stupid
story...hehehehe
